Soporific Reality
Ticia is bored with her everyday life and craves new experiences — which leads her to try a new drug made by her trusted dealer.
For this project, I leaned on the classic rule: do what you can with what you have. A friend of mine had an empty, unfinished house (an obra negra shell), so I used it as part of the story.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 arrived and we had to pause the shoot. We came back a year later to film the remaining interior scenes.
The film was selected at the (now extinct) Oaxaca FilmFest.
